BFR Guidelines during the COVID-19 Precautionary Period:
Blackhawk Farms is implementing additional precautions to lessen the potential transmission of COVID-19 to our participants and staff. A copy of the guidelines can be downloaded here. Please review these guidelines before you plan your trip to the track.
Blackhawk Farms is currently operating but hosting private events only per Governor Pritzker’s executive order 2020-30. No spectators will be allowed during any event. The state of Illinois has issued a 5 phase plan for reopening, and the state is divided into 4 regions. Blackhawk Farms is located in the North Central region and is in phase 4 of the reopening plan. Read more about the Illinois phase plan here: IDPH.
Important information regarding track waivers:
In an effort to reduce human interaction during our organizers’ registration process and at our main gate, the track is suggesting all participants print and sign the track waiver at home and bring the completed waiver to the event with them.
Here are two waivers, please choose the appropriate waiver:
Two-Sided Minor Waiver Form – please print two sided if possible
Please print, date (no more than two weeks prior to the event you are attending), sign, and have a witness attest your signature and sign. Any person responsible enough to witness your signature and sign their name is acceptable.
Minor waivers must have both sides completed and signed. Page 1 is to be completed and signed by a parent and Page 2 is to be completed and signed by the minor.
The track will collect the waivers at our main gate and ask for a photo ID to verify identity.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 815-389-2000.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to provide a safe environment for our participants, volunteers and workers, and staff!
